The Suede and Nubuk used in most Dooney & Bourke
merchandise has been treated for general water repellency, but may absorb
water under certain circumstances. If this happens, a dry cloth should
be used to blot the excess liquid and the material should be allowed to
dry thoroughly. Once dry, a suede brush should be used to gently lift
the nap.
Due to the unique texture or nap (raised fibers; longer and fuzzier on
suede bags), some consideration should be given when using during
inclement weather. In addition, care should also be taken as to where
these particular handbags are stored when not in use. This consideration
will keep the soil on the bottom to a minimum and maintain the optimal
beauty of the handbag.
NOTE:
These instructions may differ according to material and trim.

Florentine Zebra Nubuk Collections The Nubuk portion of the bag is
treated to repel water. Some surface dirt may be removed from the
Nubuk with a soft white eraser used in a gentle circular motion,
followed by the light stroke of a Nubuk/Suede brush. The Florentine
Vacchetta leather will characteristically darken over time, with use,
and exposure to light.
Due to leather porosity, Florentine Vacchetta
will darken briefly when wet. Once completely dry the original color
is restored.
No creams, polishes or leather conditioning products should be
applied to any portion of the Florentine Zebra Nubuk bags.
Please note:Some consideration should be given when using
these handbags during inclement weather. In addition, care should
also be taken as to where these particular handbags are rested when
not in use. This consideration will keep the soil on the bottom to a
minimum and maintain optimal beauty of the handbag.

consideration should be given when using during inclement weather.
If the bag becomes wet or soiled with an oily substance, a soft dry

allowed to dry naturally. Once dry, a suede brush may be used to
gently lift the nap. A suede brush may also be used to remove
superficial dirt.
No creams, polishes, or cleansers should be applied to the
Vacchetta leather trim. The Florentine
Vacchetta leather will characteristically darken over time, with use,
and exposure to light.
