Mark your calendars. The Dooney & Bourke Summer Fun sale starts on June 17th at 12PM (ET). And for the first time ever, this year, we’re giving you an exclusive sneak peek into the best deals we have lined up for you.
These days, in our coastal Connecticut hometown, we’re feeling a lot more humidity, seeing a lot more sunshine, and eating a lot more lobster rolls. Summer is just about here, which means it’s time to have some fun.
Our Summer Fun sale spans ten days, and each features a special selection of must-have styles. We sorted through each day to find you our top four deals.
Our Top Four Summer Fun Deals
Leather Day
Italian Leather lovers, make set aside plenty of time to browse the selection on Day Four. We’ll be featuring a lot of different leathers, but especially the Florentine and Alto Collections.
This is kind of a big deal, since the Italian-made Alto Collection doesn’t usually go on sale.
Our Pick: The Florentine Medium Satchel
Why?
This iconic bag has almost 1,000 reviews and has been one of our best-selling satchel bags for years. Safe to say, it comes highly recommended. If you’ve had your eye on it for a while, now’s the time to finally carry one for yourself.
Honorable Mention:
Anything from the Alto Collection. It’s rare this elevated, Italian-made collection is included in one of our sales. It offers a different side of D&B, with minimal detailing, structured silhouettes, and impeccably smooth leather.
Fabric Day
Those who love the freshness and color of our patterns will love this day. This selection features lightweight handbags crafted from material that’s relatively maintenance-free. On this day, you’ll also be able to find a few of our best selling styles including women's wristlets, briefcases and travel bags.
You’ll also find plenty of our signature styles with subtle D&B logo print.
Why?
This hobo has a timeless shape with practical features, like a zipper top and protective metal feet. We love the subtle print. People are surprised at just how versatile this pattern is.
Honorable Mention:
Anything from the Maxi Quilt Collection, particularly, the Darcy Satchel.
It’s a cult classic silhouette and made with refined touches that elevate your everyday look.
$99 Day
Let’s just preface this by saying $99 Day is by far our most popular day, so you’re going to want to virtually line up for this one early.
Our Pick: Nylon North South Triple Zip
Why?
This was a hard one. There’s so much to love from $99 Day’s selection. Ultimately, we went with this nylon crossbody bag that is probably the most practical bag for every day.
Sale Away
Our clearance day features a ton of small accessories (and some awesome, larger surprises). These little bits of D&B magic include clutches, dopp kits, cosmetic cases, watches, and more. This is the day to find something really special, or to find that something to round out your look.
Our Pick: Embossed Lizard Milly Wristlet
Why?
It’s a great wristlet for a night out. This embossed leather instantly dresses up your look, and the wrist strap is the perfect length.

Now’s a good time to get any of our watches. They’re all on sale on this day, and they’re crafted from the same quality of leather as our handbags.
