Celebrating 20 Years of The Alto Collection

It’s time to blow out the candles. The Alto Collection turns 20 this year!

In 2001, we launched our Alto Collection, a line of sophisticated handbags and accessories made entirely in Italy.

When the Alto Collection launched, its fine-grained leather looked much different from the textured pebble grains we were known for at the time. After all, of our most popular collections was All Weather Leather. But we wanted to introduce something totally new. Something that could elevate an everyday outfit even higher. Something elegant enough to be worn to work, or with your most polished outfit.

The Tassel Bag was one of the first Alto styles we made. The Tassel Bag has rolled leather top handles, a structured shape, a slim profile, and a neat leather tassel pull that brings it all together. It’s been such an iconic handbag for us over the years. That’s why today, it’s available in three sizes; the roomy Large Tassel Bag, the mid-sized Tassel Tote (one of our favorite tote bags for women!), and the Mini Tassel Crossbody.

Whatever silhouette you want, from totes to crossbody bags for women, you can find it in the Alto Collection, Today, you can even find a range of unisex briefcases, and desk accessories spanning a leather Desk Pad, a Tissue Box Cover, and more. The Camilla shoulder bag has also been part of this Italian-made collection since the beginning. Roomy and refined, it’s known for the zippered divider that splits the interior and its neat leather flap closure. We love the overall minimalist vibe.

To celebrate the collection’s 20th birthday, we’re introducing the Camilla in two exotic leathers. One is a high-shine croco-embossed leather, and a textured leather that’s embossed for an ostrich look.
