About the Leather

From a traditional Tuscan tannery, this ostrich-embossed full-grain cowhide is finished by hand with deep, luminous color. Luxurious in look and supple in feel, it speaks to true Italian craftsmanship.

Product Care

The Ostrich Collection has not been specifically treated for water repellency. Thus, the leather will temporarily darken when wet, and return to the original tone once completely dry. The waxed surface may assist in staving off some dirt. With continued use, a lovely shine or patina will develop, only enhancing the beauty of this leather.

This collection is finished with a vegetable tanned cowhide trim from Italy. The trim leather is milled to a 2.20-2.2mm and 3.0-3.2mm thickness, and has a full aniline finish. The trim also has a waxy hand feel and is kiss plated for a natural patina.
