About the Leather

Inspired by one of our most iconic collections, this Italian-tanned calfskin is naturally shrunken and washed to reveal its rich character. Supple yet enduring, it has a rounded body and soft hand, designed to develop a beautiful patina with time and wear.

Product Care

Classic All-Weather Leather® is 100% cowhide and should be gently wiped with a damp cloth when necessary. This leather can usually be cleaned with the use of a soft cotton cloth slightly dampened with distilled water (sodium-free seltzer water may be substituted) and a mild bar soap, applied in a circular motion. Repeat with distilled water only to ensure no residual soap remains. The leather should then be allowed to dry completely. This collection should not be treated with cleaning agents or leather creams. The oils in such products loosen the pores of the leather, defeating the shrinkage process that makes All-Weather Leather® impervious to the elements.

This traditional Tuscan tanned full calfskin cowhide hails from Italy. It is naturally shrunken, washed, and milled to a 1.8-2.0mm thickness. This process creates a a full, round body and soft touch, with an aniline finish to bring out the natural patina.

This collection features a full grained vegetable tanned cowhide trim from Italy. The trim leather is milled to a 3.0-3.2mm thickness, and has a full aniline finish. The trim also has a waxy hand feel and is kiss plated for a natural patina.
