We measure our bags in a highly standardized fashion. Length and width are always calculated from the dimensions of the base of the bag, while height is measured from the base to the lowest point (top center) of the design.
Please reference the diagrams below for more information.

Length
Length is calculated by measuring the base at its widest points, regardless of any tapering in size elsewhere in the bag.

Width
Width is calculated by measuring the distance between the two longest sides at the base, regardless of any tapering in size elsewhere in the bag.

Height
Height is calculated by measuring from the base to the lowest resting point at the top center of the bag, regardless of any other height variations elsewhere in the bag.

Strap Drop Length
Height is calculated by measuring from the base to the lowest resting point at the top center of the bag, regardless of any other height variations elsewhere in the bag.

More on Measuring
Dooney & Bourke products are stuffed before measuring to portray a more accurate representation of what the bag is like when filled.
